Privacy Policy

Introduction
The Ardent Blogger (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates theardentblogger.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use this Site, why we collect it, and what choices you have. By using this Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you use a contact or “Get a Recommendation” form on this Site (found on the Home, About, Services, Blog, or Contact pages), we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the message or goal you describe.
Blog comments. If comments are open on a blog post and you choose to leave one, we collect the name, email address, and optional website URL you provide, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam. If you have an account and log in, a cookie will be set to remember your login.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers log standard technical data for every visit (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps) for security and performance purposes.
We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on this Site, and this Site does not process payments or sell products, so we do not collect financial or payment information.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to messages sent through our contact and recommendation forms
- To display and moderate blog comments
- To maintain the security, performance, and technical operation of the Site
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use form or comment data for advertising purposes.
How We Store Your Information
Form submissions are stored in our website’s database (via our page-builder plugin’s form-submission feature) and are also emailed directly to us so we can follow up with you. Blog comments are stored in the same database. We take reasonable technical measures to keep this data secure, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this Site and communicate with you:
- Google / Gmail – we use Gmail’s mail servers to send and receive the emails generated by our contact forms. Google processes this email traffic under its own privacy policy.
- Hostinger – our web hosting provider, which stores the Site’s files, database, and standard server logs.
- Elementor – the page-builder plugin used to build this Site and to store form submissions in our own database.
None of these services are used to sell or share your data with advertisers.
Cookies
This Site uses a small number of cookies required for core WordPress functionality (such as remembering a commenter’s details for future comments, if you opt in) and, where applicable, caching cookies used to speed up page loads. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights over the personal data we hold about you, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, these rights are provided under the GDPR/UK GDPR; if you are a California resident, similar rights are provided under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
